You will prepare, administer, and measure radioactive isotopes in therapeutic and diagnostic studies by using a variety of radioisotope equipment. You will prepare stock solutions of radioactive materials and calculate doses to be administered by radiologists, and subject patients to radiation. You may also execute blood volume, redcell survival, and fat absorption studies following standard laboratory techniques.
You will perform medical tests in a laboratory environment for use in the treatment and diagnosis of diseases in animals. You will prepare vaccines and serums for prevention of diseases. You will prepare tissue samples, take blood samples, and execute laboratory tests, such as urinalysis and blood counts. You may also clean and sterilize instruments and materials and maintain equipment and machines.

You will apply principles of psychology to personnel, administration, management, sales, and marketing problems. Your activities may include policy planning; employee screening, training, and development; and organizational development and analysis. You may work with management to reorganize the work setting to improve worker productivity.
You will engage in the development of mathematical theory or apply statistical theory and methods to collect, organize, interpret, and summarize numberical data to provide usable information. You may specialize in fields, such as bio-statistics, agricultural statistics, business statistics, economic statistics, or other fields.
You will directly supervise sales workers in a retail establishment or department. Your duties may include management functions, such as purchasing, budgeting, accounting, and personnel work, in addition to supervisory duties.
You will plan, direct, or coordinate the operations of companies or public and private sector organizations. You will set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments. This field includes precision instrument makers who fabricate, modify, or repair mechanical instruments. You may also fabricate and modify parts to make or repair machine tools or maintain industrial machines, applying your knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, metal properties, layout, and machining procedures.
You will set up, operate, or tend milling or planing machines to mill, plane, shape, groove, or profile metal or plastic work pieces.
You will control the operation of petroleum refining or processing units. You may specialize in controlling manifold and pumping systems, gauging or testing oil in storage tanks, or regulating the flow of oil into pipelines.
You will perform any or all of the following functions in the manufacture of electronic semiconductors: load semiconductor material into furnaces; saw formed ingots into segments; load individual segments into crystal growing chambers and monitor controls; locate crystal axis in ingots x-ray equipment and saw ingots into wafers; clean, polish, and load wafers into a series of special purpose furnaces, chemical baths, and equipment used to form circuitry and change conductive properties.
