You will conduct research or perform investigation for the purpose of identifying, abating, or eliminating sources of pollutants or hazards that affect either the environment or the health of the population. Utilizing knowledge of various scientific disciplines you may collect, synthesize, study, report, and take action based on data derived from measurements or observations of air, food, soil, water, and other sources.
You will advise and educate individuals or organizations on acquiring and managing debt. You may provide guidance in determining the best type of loan and explaining loan requirements or restrictions. You may also help develop debt management plans, advise on credit issues, or provide budget, mortgage, and bankruptcy counseling.
You will review individual applications for insurance to evaluate the degree of risk involved and determine acceptance of applications.
You will inspect the handling, storage, and stowing of freight and cargoes.
You will examine, evaluate, and investigate eligibility for, conformity with, or liability under licenses or permits.
You will develop and conduct tests to evaluate product safety levels and recommend measures to reduce or eliminate hazards.
You will sell financial services, such as loan, tax, and securities counseling to customers of financial institutions and business establishments.
You will grade logs or estimate the marketable content or value of logs or pulpwood in sorting yards, millpond, log deck, or similar locations. You will inspect logs for defects or measure logs to determine volume.
You will research or study range land management practices to provide sustained production of forage, livestock, and wildlife.
You will compile information and records to draw up purchase orders for procurement of materials and services.
You will perform secretarial duties utilizing specific knowledge of medical terminology and hospital, clinic, or laboratory procedures. Your duties may include scheduling appointments, billing patients, and compiling and recording medical charts, reports, and correspondence.
You will drive a tractor-trailer combination or a truck with a capacity of at least 26,000 GVW, to transport and deliver goods, livestock, or materials in liquid, loose, or packaged form. You may be required to unload the truck, and you may need to use automated routing equipment. You will require a commercial drivers' license.
You will buy merchandise or commodities, other than farm products, for resale to consumers at the wholesale or retail level, including both durable and nondurable goods. You will analyze past buying trends, sales records, price, and quality of merchandise to determine value and yield. You will also select, order and authorize payment for merchandise according to contractual agreements. You may conduct meetings with sales personnel and introduce new products.
